Application & Removal

Less than twenty minutes, and no salon appointment. Here's how to apply, remove and re-wear your ROEV set.

Prep & Application (with sticky tabs)

Before you start

Lay the set out in finger order and hold each nail against your own to confirm the fit. Nails hold best on clean, dry, completely oil-free hands — skip hand cream before application.

Prep

Trim your natural nails to a comfortable length.
Push back your cuticles with the wooden stick — this creates a little 'pocket' for the nail to seat into. It matters more than it sounds.
Lightly file the surface of each nail to take off the shine.
Wipe clean with a prep pad and let it dry fully.

Apply

Match the tab — choose the sticky tab that covers the most of each nail.
Place the tab about 1mm from your cuticle. Press the gel completely flat, then peel away the backing.
Position the press-on against the tab about 2mm from your cuticle, then press down at a 45° angle, pushing the jelly gel into the cuticle pocket as you lower it.

**This is the step that makes the difference: it closes the tiny gap the sticky tab would otherwise leave at the cuticle end — so the nail sits flush, holds longer, and nothing catches.

Hold firmly for 15-30 seconds per nail, then squeeze the sides and tip. Pressure is what makes them last.

Give the adhesive its best start: avoid water for the first 1–2 hours.

Making them last

One rule above all: long, hot soaks lift nails — avoid them for the whole time you're wearing your set. Quick showers are fine; long baths and hot tubs are not recommended.
Use the pads of your fingers rather than your nail tips, and keep oils away from the nail area.

Removing

Soak your fingertips in warm soapy water for a few minutes.
Gently lift from the edges with the wooden stick and ease the nail off slowly. If you feel resistance, soak longer — never force or pick.
Roll off the residual jelly gel from your natural nail and the press-on.
